NOW CERTIFIED
Certification, Quality Management, Health and Safety
WaterWise is now certified to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, NHSS 12A/B and NHSS 12D.
It’s taken a lot of work across the business to get here, but the real value isn’t having another set of certificates. It’s what sits behind them.
ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 put recognised standards around how we manage quality and health and safety. They cover the way we plan work, manage risk, monitor performance and deal with issues when they arise.
The National Highways Sector Schemes take that into the practical delivery of our Traffic Management work.
NHSS 12A/B covers temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways, while NHSS 12D covers temporary traffic management on rural and urban roads.
For the teams on the ground, competence is a major part of that. The right training, qualifications and assessments have to be in place for the work being carried out. Having good systems behind the scenes means very little if the people arriving on site aren’t competent to do the job safely.
Our Traffic Management division works independently across a wide range of projects, supporting our own operations as well as delivering traffic management for external clients and contractors.
The Sector Schemes give those clients confidence that there is more behind the WaterWise name than a fleet of vehicles and equipment. There are qualified people, proper planning and established systems behind every job.
For us, that’s what these certifications are really about. Having the right systems in place at company level, but making sure they translate into how work is actually delivered on the ground.
A lot of people contributed to getting them over the line, from pulling together years of records to completing training and assessments.
Thank you to everyone at WaterWise who played a part.
